This is a one-of-a-kind piece with six unique sections including amethyst, mother-of-pearl, Andean Opal, and Chrysocolla (Peru's Turquoise).
The first section is deep purple amethyst with a raw shape. The darker the amethyst, the more valuable. This is as deep purple as amethyst can get.
Offsetting the organic shape of the amethyst are two large oval cabochons in chrysocolla and Andean opal. Chrysocolla is Peru's turquoise gemstone. Andean opal is known for its greenish blue colors and is known as Caribbean blue.
Both chrysocolla and Andean opal are combined with mother-of-pearl in two separate cluster sections to beautifully show the different hues of turquoise, blues, and greens. Mother-of-Pearl is then added in to give the piece additional light.
Finally, there is a hand-carved mother-of-pearl gemstone in a feminine flower shape, bezel set in 950 sterling silver.
Together, the six sections overlap and make for a beautiful composition. Truly the definition of wearable art.
